Multi-pulse rectification technology converts the three-phase power supply into multiple sets of voltages with different phase angles through a phase-shifting autotransformer, which are then supplied to multiple rectifier bridges respectively. The harmonic currents generated by different rectifier bridges cancel each other inside the transformer, thereby significantly reducing the harmonic currents injected into the power grid.
